This is a kinetic typography piece that was done for my Motion Graphics class. The general idea behind this whole assignment is to see how well we can use our design skills to capture the "essence" of the audio piece we're given to animate to. It is certainly meant test applied skills in Adobe After Effects, but more than anything design sensabilities are on trial. General color theory plays a very large role in the feel of everything. It probably goes without saying that typography, also, plays a huge role. Good ol' animation principles are the foundation to making the words come in and have life so that the words aren't just a type of overplayed subtitles.
